Congressman Mike Carey

Ohio's 15th Congressional District

Please Join Congressman Mike Carey for a live tele-townhall on Tuesday, August 2 at 7:00 pm to discuss his work for the 15th Congressional District and to ask questions

Congressman Carey was elected to Congress in 2021 and represents Ohio’s 15th Congressional District. He serves on the House Budget Committee as well as the House Science, Space and Technology Committee.

Prior to serving in Congress, Mike served as an executive for one of the nation’s largest privately owned energy companies right here in Ohio. No one understands the damaging effects of high energy costs better than Mike. In addition to fighting for affordable, reliable energy, Mike also worked to ensure that our energy workers were able to keep the pension benefits that they were promised from the federal government.

Mike was raised in Sabina, Ohio and graduated from East Clinton High School. He earned an ROTC scholarship, attended the Marion Military Institute, and served as an Officer in the Army National Guard. Mike is also a graduate of the Ohio State University.

He currently resides in Columbus with his wife and two young sons. His oldest son is a student at the Ohio State University.
