Richard Gotfried was re-elected April 16, 2019, to his second term in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Fish Creek.

Mr. Gotfried currently serves on the Standing Committee on Families and Communities, the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing, while also acting as UCP Calgary Caucus Chair.

His additional duties include representation of the province of Alberta as Vice President of the Pacific Northwest Economic Region and Chairmanship of Alberta’s Facility Based Continuing Care Review Expert Panel.

He previously served as chair of the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund Committee, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and as a member of the following committees:

• Standing Committee on Private Bills and Private Members’ Public Bills
• Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services
• Standing committees on Public Accounts
• Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future
