Lawmakers from the 48th Legislative District in Washington state hosted this Access Live event to connect with constituents and provide update on their work in the current legislative session. Joining the call was Washington State Senator Patty Kuderer and Representatives Vandana Slatter and Amy Walen. The legislators discussed climate issues, workforce issues and homelessness. Participants asked for a status update on long term care legislation, the status of HB 1391 known as the navigator bill, what is being done to combat the fentanyl crisis, healthcare, affordable housing, taxes, and legislation regarding assault weapons.
