Senator Connelly spoke about issues such as pension reform, education, and economic development. Senator Connelly mentioned that his mission in education is to drive competition and cut long term cost for education. Senator Connelly spoke about pension reform and the fact that they are waiting to hear the supreme court decision on the pension reform issue. The city of Chicago has very long term and immediate financial needs. Senator Michael Connelly is trying to create a better business environment.
