Representative Melanie Stansbury held this Access Live event to connect with her constituents in New Mexico’s First Congressional District. The congresswoman spoke of her work in education, support for veterans, infrastructure, and her efforts in fighting the drought and supporting farmers. She also discussed her work in women’s reproductive health protections. Participants had questions concerning gun control, activities for youth in the community, action items for constituents, water stability, environmental concerns, and legislation regarding tribal sovereignty.
