Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, representing the 20th District of Florida, hosted this Access Live event to speak with constituents about Humanitarian Parole. The event featured Tessa Petit, Co-Director of Florida Immigrant Coalition; Vanessa Joseph, Esq., Supervising Attorney at Catholic Legal Services; Taisha Saintil, Advocacy and Communications Associate at Haitian Bridge Alliance (HBA) and Haiti Fellow for Amnesty International USA; Guerline Jozef, Co-Founder and Executive Director of HBA; and Frandley Julien, Immigration Attorney. The panel spoke about immigration, applying for citizenship and the Cuban Haitian Program. There was specific discussion about where to get green cards, how to apply for a Visa if they can’t speak English, and how to support a beneficiary.
