Congresswoman Linda Sanchez held this event to connect with those in her district on important information and updates regarding the current Coronavirus (COVID-19). Dr. Sylvia Prieta, Regional Health Officer with the LA County Department of Health provided information on what COVID-19 is and what medical information is essential for callers to know and understand. Derek Polka, LA Regional Food Bank, spoke on what they are doing in the LA area to assist during this crisis. Patricia Bautista, LA Department of Social Services spoke on assistance with food information. Brad Pollock, Director of Long Beach Small Business Center gave information on what they are doing for small business owners in the community as well.
