Congressman Garamendi held this Townhall to connect with participants and speak about the water issues in California. He spoke about what can be learned from the Flint water crisis in Michigan, the Twin tunnels, and general water policy. He mentioned that there are very few lead pipes in California and there are still communities that have contaminated water systems. Congressman Garamendi believes that we need to provide additional federal money to clean up these contaminated water systems. We need to invest in our infrastructure and our foundation.
