Congresswoman Anna Eshoo hosted this Access Live event to connect with residents of California’s 18th Congressional District to provide the latest updates regarding the Coronavirus pandemic and the government’s response. Joining the call as a medical expert was Dr. David Relman, who was able to answer medical questions about the virus as well as the vaccines. Many participants had questions about the recent pause announced by the FDA and CDC on the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, due to blood clot concerns. Congresswoman Eshoo also addressed student loan relief, the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, and how to combat misinformation.
