My Faith Votes hosted this live Video TeleForum with Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, who serves as Lead Pastor at New Season Christian Worship Center in Stockton, California, and also as President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Pastor Rodriguez spoke to numerous issues facing Christians as they prepare to vote in the upcoming election. During this interactive event, Pastor Rodriguez addressed much-discussed topics such as immigration reform and cultural engagement. He shared with participants that he, as a pastor, feels that silence is not a option and he is compelled to engage in political issues and protect sacred institutions. Participants were able to ask questions live of Pastor Rodriguez, and they discussed issues such as abortion, reaching out to immigrants, and programs for the poor.
