Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE) hosted this live event to give members an opportunity to discuss the tentative agreement on the 2017-2019 contract. Speakers on the call included MAPE President Chet Jorgenson and Negotiations Committee Co-Chairs Sandra Dunn and Michelle Doheny. The hosts discussed some of the key changes included in the new tentative agreement. Many questions involved the significant improvements in health and dental programs while keeping costs low for members. Other issues discussed included wage increases, open enrollment for short-term disability insurance, professional development and advancement, phased-retirement, and vacation accrual credit for previous experience in the private sector.
