The American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the American Heart Association (AHA) hosted this Access Live Event as part of the educational webinar series, “Know Diabetes by Heart.” This event focused on educating healthcare providers on the management of risk factors in patients with Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). The event featured: Dr. Harold Bays, Medical Director and President of the Louisville Metabolic and Atherosclerosis Research Center, Inc; and Dr. Jane Reusch, Professor of Medicine, Associate Director Center of Women’s Health Research, and CCTSI Studio Program Director. The experts discussed disease risk factors, screening and diagnosis, and the importance of lifestyle management.
