Jefferson County hosted this Access Live event to recap successes and projects in 2022 and upcoming initiatives in 2023. These included the county’s initiative to update our land use, wildfire and evacuation planning and regulations, housing and homelessness initiatives, and where American Rescue Plan Act funds are being deployed.

This event featured:
Tracy Kraft-Tharp, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 1
Andy Kerr, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 2
Lesley Dahlkemper, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 3

They discussed the difference between Jefferson County and the Jefferson County School District, infrastructure, and the future land use plan. Participants had questions regarding short term rental regulations, the paving schedule, fire mitigation within open spaces, and bicycle safety.
