The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners hosted this Access Live event to discuss mental health. This event featured Tracy Kraft-Tharp, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 1; Lesley Dahlkemper, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 3; Andy Kerr, Jefferson County Commissioner, District 2; Dr. Kiana Kuenzler, President and CEO for the Jefferson Center for Mental Health; Don Davis, Jefferson County Manager; Jeff Shrader, Jefferson County Sheriff; Michelle Gonzalez, Suicide Prevention Coordinator at Jefferson County Public Schools; and Julie Story, Director Of Public Affairs at Jefferson County. The hosts discussed several important aspects of mental health affecting daily living and also addressed the pandemic, resources available to seniors and youth, substance abuse, and the importance of self-care.
