The office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and SheLeads held this Access Live event entitled, “The Pandemic Pivot: Surviving and Thriving.” The event featured Award-winning Journalist Donna Lowry. Speakers for this free webinar include Engineer, Founder CEO at Nead Werx, Inc. Nickolas Downey; Guest Speaker CEO/Fashion Designer at T31™ Elena Carné; President and Head Brewer at Anderby Brewing Preston Smelt and Owner and Manager of 3 Parks Wine Shop Sarah Pierre. The experts discussed different ways in which they all pivoted and changed their business plans in light of the pandemic, ways they were able to redirect funding, raise funds or find investors to help offset costs associated with COVID-19, and tips on remaining adaptive to change. The hosts also fielded questions regarding positivity amidst stress, dealing with customer and client expectations, and changing their product to give customers a new experience.
