United States Congressman Phil Roe, MD, representing the first district of Tennessee, hosted this live, interactive event to discuss some important issues with his constituents such as jobs, the economy and health care. Congressman Roe explained the Senate's idea for reforming health care, sharing that they will repeal the Affordable Care Act, but keep popular provisions such as coverage of pre-existing conditions, and the ability for people up to the age of 26 to stay on their parent's health insurance. Participants were able to ask questions of the Congressman, and addressed topics such as birth control availability, purchasing health insurance that fits their needs, and support for veterans.
