Douglas County, Colorado hosted this Access Live event to discuss zoning issues. The event featured Commissioners Abe Laydon, George Teal and Lora Thomas, who addressed community inquiries about zoning regulations that define what is and what is not allowed for home-based businesses. The Board of Douglas County Commissioners is considering changes to regulations for residents in unincorporated Douglas County, and specifically for those living on 4.5 acres or more that is zoned for agriculture or rural development. Many participants had questions about large trucks, infrastructure, retail operations, and how the rules and regulations may be enforced.
