Congresswoman E.B. Johnson represents the 30th District in Texas and called constituents to discuss work in congress. The representative is a ranking Member of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology and is the first Registered Nurse elected to Congress. Callers were concerned about the future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as well as proper care for veterans. Participants were also concerned about the Christian slaughter in the Middle East and the nuclear negotiations with Iran. Student loan relief was discussed as was the racial tensions and community policing as being seen currently in Baltimore. The Representative strongly supports research especially in Space exploration and discussed the recent American Competes Act.
