This live, interactive event was hosted by members of the Commerce City City Council. They discussed current issues going on in the city and took questions from residents. Topics included snow removal, revitalization of former Mile High Greyhound Park, and improvements adjacent to the new commuter rail station. Councilman Diaz noted that, starting in January, residents will be asked to assist in naming the new recreation centers. Mayor Pro Tem René Bullock reviewed the city’s five established priorities for 2017, including building 30 new units of senior housing by January 2019 and implementing sustainable police department reforms, consistent with the Department of Justice recommendations, by the end of 2019.
