Chew, who is a retina specialist and is the deputy director of the Division of Epidemiology and Clinical Applications, and the deputy clinical director at the National Eye Institute (NEI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Chew discussed supplements, the importance of a healthy diet, and having a regular eye exam to promote good eye health as it relates to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
