BrightFocus Foundation hosted this monthly event featuring Dr. Constance Okeke, MD, MSCE, an Ivy League-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. The doctor shared helpful tips for taking charge of glaucoma diagnosis. She specifically addressed symptoms to look for, knowing family history, who is susceptible to getting glaucoma, having a trusted doctor/patient relationship, and how glaucoma can come with aging. Dr. Okeke also discussed Glaucoma Awareness Month and spoke about her new Glaucoma Guidebook.
