President Dimondstein facilitated a conversation with participants about the new contract negotiations for postal workers. Some expressed their hope at acknowledging weaknesses and to rectify job security issues and overtime work. There exist some issues specific to certain areas and the hosts encouraged that all are able to reinforce good safety and work conditions. Unity in the four post services are growing and hosts urged all to voice their support for the new negotiations and how they can impact the tentative agreement coming up. They asked two polls as well. Additionally they discussed the post masters roles being imbalanced to what is required in the position as well as retirees.
