AARP Rhode Island hosted this Access Live event to discuss preventing fraud and elder financial exploitation. This event featured Peter F. Neronha, Attorney General of Rhode Island and Kathy Stokes, Director of Fraud Prevention, AARP Fraud Watch Network. They provided tips and resources to help participants distinguish if a communication was fraud or not. They also discussed identity fraud, credit card scams, gift card scams, as well as scams related to charity over the holiday season.
