AARP Oregon hosted this Access Live event to discuss advocacy for people 50+ and their families and highlight priorities for 2023. This event featured AARP OR State Director, Bandana Shrestha; AARP OR Volunteer State President, Michael Schultz; AARP OR Director of Communications, Stacy Larson; AARP OR Government Relations Director, Andrea Meyer; AARP OR Volunteer Engagement Analyst, Megan Crowell; and AARP OR Engagement Director, Stacey Triplet. The hosts discussed the Age Discrimination Law, the decrease in prescription drug prices, and long-term caregiving. Participants also asked questions about the national budget in regards to Social Security and housing evictions.
