AARP Oklahoma held this event for their members to discuss digital connectivity in Oklahoma, including information on high speed internet access. This event featured Sean Voksuhl, State Director for AARP Oklahoma, Dr. Brian Whitacre, Professor and Jean & Patsy Neustadt Chair in the department of Agricultural Economics at Oklahoma State University, and Eduard Bartholme, Associate Bureau Chief for the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau and Federal Communications Commission. The hosts discussed what connectivity is and what high speed internet means for Oklahoma. The host also talked through the Emergency Broadband Benefit. Dr. Whitacre discussed how they want people to take advantage of the benefits through the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB).
