The event featured AARP State Director Todd Stubbendieck, Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson, and Meghan Stoppel, Assistant Attorney General Serving as the Chief of the Consumer Protection in the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office. The experts provided information and resources to identify and combat fraud and discussed specific scams emerging such as false charities, promises of a COVID vaccine, and an increase in counterfeit products.
