AARP Nebraska hosted this Access Live event to provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 on older Nebraskans and how the state is working to protect their most vulnerable populations. Joining the call was Congressman Don Bacon, of Nebraska’s 2nd district, who gave legislative updates on the federal response to COVID-19. He provided information on the CARES act, explained how seniors will receive their stimulus payments, and addressed clarifications for those who are on social security and those that do not file tax returns.
