AARP Missouri held this Access Live event to discuss the coronavirus and the impact on the state. Attorney General Eric Schmitt began the call by discussing how participants can stay safe from scams and price gouging during these turbulent times. Dr. Randall Williams, Director of the Department of Health and Senior Services, discussed the importance of staying safe, healthy, and informed. Participants had questions about Social Security recipients and economic impact payments, what is being done to address the insufficient supply of personal protective equipment, how to safely get groceries, availability of testing, and volunteer opportunities for retired healthcare workers.
