AARP Indiana hosted this Access Live event to address COVID-19 vaccines and the Black Community. The event featured Director for Marion County Public Health Department, Dr. Virginia Caine and Health Commissioner of Gary, Indiana, Dr. Roland Walker. The hosts provided important information about scheduling vaccines in addition to what to expect when receiving the vaccination. AARP State Director Sarah Waddle also provided information about how the state is recognizing and confronting racial disparities to protect minorities against the pandemic.
