AARP Idaho hosted this Access Live event for their members to discuss fraud and consumer protection. This event featured Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador and Stephanie Guyon, Deputy Attorney General for Consumer Protection. Attorney General Labrador shared what his office does to help with fraud and what his goals are as he was recently elected to this office. They also talked about which consumer protection laws are enforced by the Attorney General’s office, discussed scams taking place over the phone, and what things should not be asked for over the phone.
