AARP Nebraska held this event during World Investment Week to discuss investment fraud and what members can do to protect themselves against this. They discussed the recent data breach with Equifax and what members should be aware of, and how to determine if a financial professional is a credible source. Annuities were discussed on the event and how to figure out if they could be a good investment for someone. They also provided information for how to report investment scams in Nebraska and what some of the most popular scams are.
