AARP Connecticut hosted this Access Live event to discuss the COVID-19 vaccines and avoiding scams emerging as a result of the pandemic. The event featured: Connecticut Attorney General William Tong; Sandra Arenas, Assistant Attorney General; and Dr. Reginald Eadie, President and CEO of Trinity Health of New England and Co-Chair of the Connecticut COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Group. Together they provided important information about combatting COVID-19, vaccine distribution in Connecticut, and protecting yourself from fraud and scams related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants asked questions about COVID-19 vaccine safety and efficacy, current vaccine availability in Connecticut, identity theft, and unwanted robocalls.
