AARP Connecticut hosted this live Vekeo event with State Senate President Martin Looney, House Majority Leader Joe Aresimowicz, and Bill Kosturko, who serves on the Connecticut Retirement Security Board. The topic of conversation was on House Bill 5591, the Connecticut Retirement Security Program. The one thing that the Connecticut Retirement Security board focused on was the cost to small businesses. The deduction from workers’ wages will be similar to that of an income tax withholding.
