AARP California held this event with their members to connect with them on providing technology services for older adults. Guest speakers Scott Adams, Deputy Director of Broadband and Digital Literacy, California Department of Technology and Ryan Kawamoto, Regional Program Manager, Older Adults Technology Services from AARP spoke to participants about the importance of internet safety and staying up to date with technology. During the call, hosts answered questions about how to provide services to those on a fixed income, what products and services they offer, and a variety of other questions. Topics of discussion included upcoming classes and workshops on how to use technology, online and smartphone safety, and many others.
