AARP CA held this event with their members to connect with them on various topics and to provide them with information that is necessary for this upcoming year, including important public transportation information. Guest speakers Michael Cortez, the LA Transit interim director of LIFE program and Lily Ortiz from LA Transit discussed discounted fares that Metro has to offer and the LIFE program. Other topics of discussion included the eligibility requirements for the LIFE Program and how those with disabilities can access a special service to be better assisted.
