AARP National held this event for their members to discuss how to recognize and protect themselves from frauds and scams. Guest speakers Larissa Bungo, Assistant Regional Director, East Central Region at FTC, and Liz Buser, Senior Advisor AARP Fraud Prevention, aided in discussing some of the common scams that plague seniors the most. Many participants had questions and concerns about job scams and mail scams, ways to report frauds and scams, and how to help be free of fraud and scams.
