AARP hosted this Access Live event to provide information and answer questions about fraud. This event featured Cristina Miranda, Federal Trade Commission Division of Consumer and Business Education, Seth Boffeli, Advisor with the AARP Fraud Watch Network team, and Kevin Craiglow, AARP Senior Advisor, Community Strategy and Integration, Office of Community Engagement. They discussed imposter scams, grandparent scams, romance scams, and talked at length about how gift cards are red flags. Participants asked questions regarding Social Security scams, if it is safe to lead on scam callers, and how to get your number on the National Do Not Call List.
