Pennsylvania State Senator Gene Yaw, representing Pennsylvania’s 23rd Senatorial district, hosted this live, interactive event to discuss the growing heroin and opioid epidemic facing Pennsylvania. He was joined by Barry Denk, Director of The Center for Rural Pennsylvania, Dr. Rachel Levine, Physician General of Pennsylvania, and Jack Whelan, District Attorney of Delaware County. The panelists answered questions from listeners and discussed law enforcement challenges, public health implications, and educating our youth about the dangers of heroin and opioids. This was the third “A Commonwealth Crisis” event in the five-part series.
